JildyT, in collaboration with Jenesse Center and Jeneration J’s 2nd Annual “Raise your Voice 4 Peace” Youth Vocal Competition 2019

LOS ANGELES – JANUARY 27, 2020 – JildyT, Jenesse Center and JenerationJ’s 2nd annual “Raise your Voice 4 Peace” youth vocal competition 2019. The 2nd annual competition took place Nov 16, 2019 at Los Angeles Grammy Museum in downtown Los Angeles, CA. The winner takes home a grand prize check for $3,000 dollars and a professionally recorded demo made at Hollywood Hippie Records recording studio in the Hollywood Hills.

Disney’s hit show “Raven’s Home'” Star Issac Brown (who plays Booker) brings lots of humor hosting the 2019 2nd Annual Raise Your Voice 4 Peace Competition. Issac wowed the audience by performing his original new release. The 2019 1st place winner trophy went to Chastity Lesueur. Chastity blew the audience away with her original song, “Rocking My Chucks”. The 2nd place runner up trophy went to Caleb Smith.

Jenesse Center – Offering 38 years of life-saving services, Jenesse Center Inc. is a nationally recognized non-profit domestic violence prevention and intervention organization. Jenesse works locally, nationally and globally to shine a light on violence against women, girls, men and boys and advocates the basic human right for all people to have peace in their homes and relationships. Housing women and children from 30 days up to two years through our emergency and transitional shelters, Jenesse also provides a variety of support services, including mental health counseling, independent life skills classes, computer training, job referrals, after school programs for children, field trips, tutoring and comprehensive, direct legal services. Jenesse takes a proactive stance in educating young people to learn what healthy relationships look like and works to break the generational cycle of violence.

Jeneration J is an offspring of Jenesse Center, Inc and is a centralized virtual support system that provides a comprehensive dating violence intervention and prevention resource center exclusively for young people. Jeneration J serves as a culturally relevant outlet to engage young people in building healthy relationships.
