Chicago, IL— (June 18th) — Six months after finishing a successful kickstarter campaign, State Matters will be unveiling their full website and new educational video content at their Launch Party on June 27th at Sleeping Village.
There will be DJ sets by Ohmme and Reel Big Tuna. There will be a raffle with prizes like festival passes to Pitchfork Music Festival, $100 to eat and $100 to sleep at Longman and Eagle, Empty Bottle tickets and dinner for 2 next door at Bite Cafe, $250 in tattoo time at Brown Brother Tattoos, treatments from Allyu Spa, and MANY MORE! This is also an opportunity for community members to engage with the State Matters team and their new online content.

State Matters is a nonprofit committed to accessibility and inclusivity. While this is a fundraiser, tiered pricing is offered for tickets to ensure everyone who wants to attend, can. Attendees are encouraged to pay what they can.
All the funds raised will go towards State Matters’ get out the vote initiative, which includes Ballot Parties hosted across the state and video content explaining the ballot and how to vote! More information about this initiative coming soon.
Sleeping Village can be accessed on public transit via the Blue Line at Belmont, the #56 Milwaukee Bus, or the #77 Belmont Bus. Sleeping Village is wheelchair accessible.
