SAN ANTONIO/ MARCH 23, 2018 – Denver-based designer Hannah Payne has built her budding apparel line on feminine, fashion forward pieces that empower customers with a premium fit and feel. A portion of every purchase from Luba directly goes towards the ongoing support of LOVE Foundation, a charity founded by Payne to create lasting change for women overcoming the cycle of domestic violence.
Crafted in New York and Los Angeles and carried in specialty boutiques throughout the country and online, Luba will be popping up in four Valencia Group hotels, spanning from California to Texas. The April road show series will unveil immersive, one-day only Luba mini boutiques in the lobby lounges of San Jose, CA’s Hotel Valencia Santana Row (April 12 from 5:30–8:30 pm), Houston’s Hotel Sorella CITYCENTRE (April 18 from 3-7 pm), The George in College Station, TX (April 19 from 5-8 pm) and San Antonio’s Hotel Valencia Riverwalk (April 20 from 4-8 pm). A percentage of sales from each event will benefit a local women’s shelter, and guests will be treated to complimentary craft cocktails and chef-driven bites while shopping.
Payne, a graduate of the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York, began her career with internships at Vogue and under red carpet fixture Naeem Khan. Payne expresses that she chose to partner with Valencia Group as “They are internationally recognized for redefining the idea of ’boutique luxury’ through their premier destinations – a concept that Luba’s business is reflected on every day.”
The “Haute Looks, Cool Pop-Up” is one of several signature branded experiences that targets Valencia Group’s extensive contingent of female business and leisure travelers. Popular initiatives in the past have included “Give Us The Shirt Off Your Back” career wear drive-in partnership with Dress for Success.
