The NALA Helps Clients Gain Media Exposure While Helping People in Need

VENTURA, CALIF. – MAY 16, 2018 – Soles4Souls, a nonprofit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing, are currently featuring two case studies of the NALA clients on its website. These clients, Twin Cities, MN, real estate agent Aaron Brown of Weichert, Realtors-Advantage and McKennon Law Group PC in Newport Beach, CA, hosted donation drives to help Soles4Souls in its mission to eradicate extreme poverty by 2050.

After hearing about Soles4Souls through the NALA’s cause marketing program, Brown spearheaded a donation drive and collected over 1,500 pairs of shoes. In turn, he and Weichert, Realtors-Advantage received media attention from local news sources.

The McKennon Law Group donation drive was in honor of Soles4Souls’ “Go Green” initiative, a campaign aimed at keeping shoes out of landfills and instead utilizing them to create meaningful opportunities for women in developing nations to generate income and provide for themselves and their families. McKennon Law Group collected hundreds of pairs of shoes, receiving local media attention, including from the prestigious LA Times.

The NALA’s Charity Branding program allows small businesses to not only align with a great cause in order to increase awareness but to position it as a leader that cares about making the world a better place. The NALA has introduced a multitude of diverse small businesses to one of its many top-rated charity partners. After which, the NALA, as part of individual cause marketing campaigns, announces these new partnerships in press releases, helping boost these businesses’ revenue as they assist people in need.

In addition to Soles4Souls, the NALA works with a long list of affiliated national and local non-profits, such as Operation Warm, which manufactures and distributes high-quality, new winter coats to children in need throughout the United States. Other NALA charity partners include The Greatest Generations Foundation, Lily Sarah Grace Fund, Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation, GlobalGiving,Dream With Me Foundation and StandUp For Kids.
