Music for the Mission Aims to Feed 100,000 People in Need Via ‘We Are One’ Single

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – MAY 15, 2018 – “We Are One” is a Music for the Mission musical collaboration of over 40 musicians and vocalists, and is set to debut online on May 22. Also, radio stations across Upstate New York will be playing the song in unison on 5/22 at 5:11 p.m. and again in unison on 5/23 at 8:11 a.m.

Written by multi-gold record songwriter Bob Halligan, Jr. of Ceili Rain, “‘We Are One’ is an incredible song that tells the heartfelt story of how one person can make a difference in the lives of one and many,” said attorney Joe Stanley, founder of Stanley Law and Music for the Mission.

Music for the Mission’s goal is to use music to raise awareness and money to help feed and shelter the homeless. “We Are One” is the largest initiative ever backed by Music for the Mission. It provides relief to the hungry and homeless in Syracuse, Watertown, Ithaca, and Binghamton.

“We Are One” will be available ultimately through Amazon and iTunes for .99 cents per download and featured on air and at events through many of Stanley Law’s media partners — radio, television, cable and digital marketing outlets. To contribute, please download the song.

“We already know how many units to sell to reach the goal of feeding 100,000 people,” concluded Angela Moonan, co-founder of Music for the Mission. “It’s ambitious, yet possible: 30,000 paid downloads. In this era of social media sharing, we’re hoping it will go viral.”
