Grandin Road Announces Charitable Media Event to Benefit Autism Speaks

WEST CHESTER, Ohio, May 1, 2017 – Home furniture and decor retailer Grandin Road announced a charitable media event to benefit Autism Speaks through NBC Universal’s George to the Rescue broadcast show. George to the Rescue is an Emmy® Award-winning syndicated home renovation show that seeks families in need of upgrades to their homes due to recent unexpected illness, afflictions, and life-changing injuries with the end goal of improving the quality of life for the show’s homeowners and families.

Grandin Road will participate in the episode to air on or around 4/29/2017 which features a family whose son is on the autism spectrum, with the goal of improving color, tactile, and sensory issues in the home. Designer Tyler Wisler has selected Grandin Road products that will be donated to the family to assist in the renovation. Grandin Road announces that they will donate 10% of the final purchase price of any of the products used by designer Tyler Wisler in the rescue from 4/29/2017 – 5/13/2017 to Autism Speaks.
